A Sweet Tweet Re-tweet

If I were a bird, I would love to have this Sweet Tweet Re-tweet !

I saw this little birdhouse at the dollar store and instantly thought of a tassel.

Here is what I used:

Dollar wood bird house

Various paints – practiced my roses…

Yarn – left over from my daughters short crochet lesson

Ribbon

Fray tack – a must to seal those edges from fraying

Hot glue gun

Spice lid

Total cost – One dollar – as I had all the supplies….

My son said “Mom, the birds are NOT going to use that house !”

Well, duhhhhhhhh it is just another dust collector – perfect for Valentines Day !

Well done Kammy.
I forgot that you are a tole painter too. The thing about these kinds of dust collectors is that you can swish it around and it will dust for you.

That is just precious!! You are so talented. I am painting a birdhouse and a butterfly house but mine will look very primitive in comparison, LOL. Kerrie

Kammy,
That is adorable and you did a great job painting the roses. A very pretty tassel. I might just have to make one for Valentine's Day to replace the Christmas one I took down.

Oh my goodness, you can do everything well, even paint roses! I love this idea, because it's so cheap to make! Only $1 for the house, and we all probably have everything else we need right at home. Looooove it!
