If the “Other Lady” could see what I did…..

015 You all know about my love affair with Craig ….sometimes I have to confront the “Other Lady” !

I have been looking for a mirror and I of course will not spend the money on a new one….I have been looking at Craig for months…I finally found this lovely and Oooooooo my favorite Gaudy Gold….for twenty bucks. I called and made arrangements to meet the “Other Lady”….The “Other Lady”  said it just didn’t fit in her new home and oh how she spent so much money on it, when she bought it……Well, if she could see it now…….she may be wishing she never sold this beauty…..

I used my favorite Krylon oil rubbed bronze spray paint  aka ORB.

If you are wanting to add ORB to your spray paint collection - I have only been able to buy it at Wally World.

I am linking up with Susan at

http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/

Stop by Susan’s to get some great ideas on how to spruce up something  -maybe it’s the “Other Ladies'” or maybe its something you already own !

Hugs ~ Kammy

I love it! And I love ORB!!! Seeing as how we're moving to a new "old" house next week, I will definitely be finding ways to add it to my decor!!!

Love that mirror. Why oh why can't I find great deals on craigslist? Everything is way over priced in my area.

Hi Kammy! Oh, honey! Your mirror is beautiful! I'm sure the other lady would want it back if she saw it now. Don't send her a picture of it! :)

I actually did that once! :) I bought a little round table that's in my breakfast room and it was a blond finish. I sanded and restained it mahogany. I was so pleased I sent a picture of the refinished table to the lady I bought if from on Craigslist. She wrote back and said - is this really my table? If I'd known it would have looked this good - I wouldn't have sold it to you!
Nervy, huh? :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia;)

This looks great, Kammy! I have a large gold mirror that I'm growing tired of and would like to paint it! The close up picture looks like it's brown, but I know that sometimes black comes across that way. Is it brown or black? I could do either in the room my mirror is in.

Hi,
Very nice beveled mirror!! It looks great, might even look better in my house! Wish I lived closer to Craig...he could be my best friend too. But, nothing out here, so may have to talk to Dot to start checking things out for me in Denver.
Hope you get a holiday tomorrow like I do!

Love your mirror with the ORB paint. I have a mirror I want to paint and you just inspired me to go to Walmart and get it done. It is for my entry. I have a picture there I want to replace with the mirror. It is amazing what a little paint can do.
I am going to have to check Craig out more often.
