Scrolls and Iron – I just love them , here are 3 pictures of the ones in my kitchen. All were purchased at Hob Lob (I love that place and so does my wallet !)

I stopped at a local thrift store and found these 2 tablecloths – for 3 and 5 bucks….not bad..The one with the green scrolls you can turn over and use the other side which is all creams.
I went to Marshalls….one of my favorite stores. I love the quality and they have very good prices, especially the clearance. The frame on the left side is actually a shadow box, letter is scribed in the glass is M – which is for my youngest daughters room – it will stay cream but, I will add a different cloth to the inside – this was only 15 bucks – I had eyed it a few weeks ago but didn’t buy it.The organizer in the middle is going in my studio and it will become black. The two frames were only three bucks a piece and I may paint the silver one, but not for sure yet….(I am a woman and I am allowed to change my mind any given time – that’s the rule ! ) It pays to go to the same store week after week. Marshalls marks down stuff all the time,they also get in new stuff a couple of times a week. I found out that one of the days the store re stocks the shelves is Thursday –right before the weekend. If you can shop on Thursday night, you will catch all the deals first. This is my insider tip LOL. 
The Dollar Store – need I say more ???? I really get a kick out of the store, especially when they post signs like “ 12” pot for $1.) I really wanted to ask the clerk “why how much is the 14” pot ??) Anyway –those huge heavy glass mugs are because my 20 year old son always complains when visiting our kitchen that we don’t have any big glasses….well here ya go ! The large votive square glasses are really cool..I think they are too big for a votive candle – but you can add stuff with it to pretty it up. The stars I love – I am thinking Christmas time or Memorial Day, Fourth of July and even Labor day. Use them for desserts, candles, and kinds of stuff. All the glass is made from Anchor Hocking which is a nice brand. I love the Buck Store (So does my wallet !)
Spode Blue Italian….I am starting to collect – all on clearance and 2 different Marshalls –thirteen bucks,seven bucks and three bucks..pretty good I think. Another tip is when visiting other towns,find out where Marshalls, TJ Maxx , etc are because they all get different things !
See the sweet frame – three bucks, oh and the two frames in picture number 1 were three bucks ! Now I got to get some pictures. The blue crab bar and grill platter and bowl thing was on clearance, Oh Yeah Baby – I love them and would not pay the normal marked down price – I got them both for ten bucks !
I have been wanted one of these... to display perfectly useless stuff, but I am cheap and did not want to spend more then ten bucks…this one had my name on it for $5.50 – a steal ! It even came with the sand and shells – I really did quite well today. I am the professional shopper, ya know…..

I had to borrow items from all over the house to make this Tablescape. The Bistro sign is a TJ Maxx find ( it usually rests on top of my kitchen cabinets. The platter in the middle is Chris Madden from JC Penneys – I got it on sale for $50.00 ( which in my book is a HUGE purchase – but I just loved it and had to have it. It is super heavy and I can use it for O-so-many things ! (I look at it as an investment) JC Penneys has lots of other things to match, but they are very expensive. 
The transferware (sp?) little plate is from TJ Maxx and was $2.99 – it normally sits on my kitchen countertop and I switch it out with the season – I think transferware is for the seasons in-between ! It is hard to see the cool urn (Oh –can you tell I LOVE BRONZE ??) which holds a plant (which will never die – love it )
The little glass butter server on top of the plates came from Ross. I love butter just as much as Paula Dean ! ( I can eat it right off the stick – I know some of you are thinking – YUCK !)
The little plates on top are appetizer plates from Harry and Davie –got them on clearance for a buck or two. Haven’t cleaned all the stickers off yet (gee wiz , I am busy – plus who’s gunna see..hee hee)
Chris Madden plates ( I love them but..they are light weight and I just got them from Santa and they are already chipping – Santa said he won’t buy me dishes again :o( …) I am thinking about keeping some aside for “good” and to quit using them everyday …. Oh, did you see my tablecloth ?? I got it at a thrift store for $2.99 !! It is very nice – don’t know what brand…. Oh and last but not least my “chargers” I stole from the wall ….are those antique replica ceiling tiles….I told you , I really need more stuff ! What’s a girl to do..My dishes are multiplying like bunnies…and
it is only fitting that they have a warm place to stay….so I did
some thinking and I thought, why not consolidate all the food
(heck – we’re all on diets anyway…) Here is my pantry before
doing anything…
I know, I know very messy… Now it looks like this, keep in mind
I emptied 2 overhead cupboards (for the need of dish space..)
Not beautiful – but it does all fit…..1 place for all the pantry stuff.
Here is a picture of my “white/cream dish cupboard” I bought
the blue stuff this weekend and the three little pitchers…thus is
why I needed more room…
Then I had to make room for my Spode Emma’s Garland,
Newport Seaside, Cabbage dishes and my new bird salt
and pepper shakers (don’t you love them – they begged
my to buy them !)
Here is my cupboard with mostly Longaberger Dishes….
Then look what happened…..an EMPTY cupboard (oh, don’t
worry I will find dishes to fill it too !)
It is kinda scary that I didn’t show you the corner cupboard, where
I have a bunch of misc. dishes….And I have a couple of different
Christmas sets not in the kitchen….Oh No, what have I become ???
Yes, I think I am a “Dish Crazy”, I must stop , I must…..Tell me
am I going “Dish Crazy”, do I need some professional counseling ??????

I grabbed my old antique Ball jar, filled it with water ( I know you are laughing because I used FAKE or lets be fancy FAUX flowers – hey I got them at Michaels for $2.50..)
The ever popular Target birds - $4.99. My china is Mikasa and I got it at Linen and Things when they were going out of business .
As I stated in an earlier post…I realize I don’t own much in table linens..so I stole from my quilting stash for the “napkins” Please don’t look closely as the silverware (I didn’t polish….) This was a quick setting. I had to work quick as our dining room table is the only “eating” table in the house..remember Small House….anyway my hubby says…”oh no, you’re doing it again” that is setting the table pretty and not including any food….well maybe one day I will !

I love these little plates, I bought 4 different ones from Ross
in Feb. for $2.99. I then found the large plate at Marshalls
for $ 7.99. I got the placemats at the dollar tree and I didn’t
have any napkins , so I took some of my Easter fabric ( from
my quilting stash) and “made” napkins. I do need more table
setting stuff……………….I just hate to shop…hee hee
Both my puppies are boys, so they have blue collars and tags !
It was very hard to get them in a picture (they wiggle alot !)
