My Frugalicious Find–a Teaser

I always get corrected when I say

cheap

I mean cheap or aka thrifty

I thought that I need a better word..

Frugalicious

Is Frugalicious a word ?

Why yes,( even if it currently is being rejected by spellcheck )

I even looked it up on

Urban Dictionary

Frugalicious – to be frugal and fabulous at the same time. Someone who looks for a deal

instead of just spending recklessly. AKA – Kammy at Small Home In The Country.

Is there an Urban Check vs Spell Check ?

The red squiggly line is underlining every word I write …

I will not Obey the red squiggly lines….

Now back to the post..

Do you wear glasses ?

Perhaps not (you must be under 40..)

I am a penny pincher.

I want a deal.

I want to be Frugalicious.

And I am.

Coming soon, I will post a tutorial on how I bought prescription

glasses on-line for about

twelve bucks

yes, read that again…

I really said $12 bucks.

Hugs,

Kammy

p.s. this is not advertisement and I am not associated with any companies, I am not a millionaire -

I just want you to also be Frugaicious !

I like your word! And it's a good thing to be. I would love to know how you got those glasses so frugally! I am always breaking mine and they are SO expensive, the frames that is. Thanks so much, Kammy!

XO,
Jane

My "dot" found a web site for cute glasses that are "frugalicious", too. Can't remember what it is, but I'll be checking back with you to see if it's the same one. If not, I'll find it and share it, too. Cute hat! ♥♫

How timely, Kammy! I am actually due to go for my eye exam and new glasses. I like to get a new frame every 2 years {since that is what my insurance allows}. I'll look forward to that post!

You go right along with your words. I do make up my own words too!
You are amazing getting that kind of a deal on those glasses. You look so cute in them too! I do wear glasses in the mornings but my time is spent in my contacts.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

What a great word, so much better than "cheap"! Our grandmothers were cheap, so we need something a little more fabulous. Can't wait for the glasses post! Thanks for stopping by my blog and sending some love.
