Thank you for your sweet words Kammy. I am really enjoying the hexagons. :o) I am unfamiliar with the shop hop quilting magazine. Sounds like I need to do a little research. :o) Have a great week. Sincerely ~ Tricia
Awwwww, he's so cute with his snout full of mud! I wish you could have gotten a shot of him in the trough. I bet that was cute too. Hope you're enjoying your summer!
What a hoot! I have a water hole for Boo Boo because he doesn't do well in our heat. It's so sandy the soil is cool and damp for his afternoon nap. So he's never had a "mud" bath! I'm starting to get weary from these 100 degree days out here. Stay cool and enjoy summer. ♥♫
Too cute. Love the name Otis. Wish I could post a photo in a comment. A friend's Newfoundland went out to play and came back looking dipped in chocolate - all that showed were big eyes in smooth milky brown mud. And bound happily into the house to share.
Oh for the love of puppies! I didn't think our giant 110 lb. German Shorthair would live through his puppyhood. Got to admit, Otis takes a cute picture! :)
Kammy, We once had a dog who LOVED to dig and get in the mud. He was a white wheaten terrier and always a disaster. WHY do they always want to immediately come in when they look like this? LOL Your Otis is a cutie- muddy snout and all! hugs, Sue
Well who would have thought Otis could look any cuter but there he is in his muddy glory. BTW I replaced my old laptop with a new Toshiba. So far it is running great. Super fast. Kammy your background is missing off of your blog. Maybe you are just changing photos or something but when it happened to me I had to reload my background from the site I first got it from. It just shows a little box saying the photo has moved.
LOL! Our puppy Maya also discovered mud this week, while my husband was removing the old deck from our yard (I'm getting my cottage-style garden!) She has a very short coat, but every inch of it was covered in mud! But she was soooo happy!
Your pup is adorable, and your blog is lovely. I will be back again to stop in and read more :-)

I do really live in a "Small Home In The Country", close by the Rocky Mountains - I have one very beautiful view. Nobody ever stops by
and the neighbors aren't close.I started Blogging in March 2009 of and it has given me the inspiration to decorate, create and bring out my other many hobbies to have friends, family and visitors to
stop by for a bit.....
