Love the desk and hutch makeover...I can't tell from the before picture but looks like you might have replaced the back of the shelves with beadboard, or maybe the black just makes the detail pop. Love the stool as well.
What a cute stool (and I love the clipboards and stuff behind it!) And the desk/hutch rivals something out of Pottery Barn :o)
Oh my stars!! These are BOTH gorgeous and look so elegant! LOVE that desk/hutch!!
LOVE IT!

Hi Kammy! Oh, I love your furniture makeovers! You have done a wonderful job! I truly love to see what others do and I'll go over and check out that blog.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)
Both of your makeovers are just gorgeous. It always amazes me what a little paint can do to make something a real treasure. Your pieces are stunning. Hugs, Marty
Using you as inspiration I painted an old blue Ikea bookcase black yesterday. I am not done yet but I love it so far.
You always do such a nice job with your makeover pieces....they are both gorgeous!

Gorgeous! Love the black.
Love the stool!
The two look perfect together! And I love all of the accessories in the background of the first picture. Those clipboards, pinboard, and painted frames are so cute. I'm glad you posted to one more party, mine. :)
that is gorgeous!!! 50 bucks and you turned it into at least 500!!! would love to see pictures of the room that you have the stool in - seems adorable! glad you found my blog today because i am really happy to have discovered yours!
Very nice, Kammy! You are just getting to be an expert in refinishing furniture....Christine
hi kammy,
i just adore your clipboards. that is such a cool idea. always lots of inspiration at your blog, cutie!
xo
This looks wonderful! It has very similar lines to a dresser I painted and put in my entryway! Thanks for visiting my blog!
Youre too sweet! Thank you so much for the comment and for stopping by my blog! I appreciate it. I love your blog and this hutch! It's perfect!
That looks great! Super classic, won't ever go out of style.
Wow...those to thinks look like they were made for each other! Beautiful in black!
It always amazes me how just a change of color can drastically update a piece of furniture!
I am about to do some painting, well, ok, as soon as I am up to it.
I am hoping by the first of the year to get to it.
I am...just delighted at the difference paint and a bit of material can make. YOU are amazing!
I am not sure but it seems like I may have seen these before..but IF I have why on earth didn't I save your blog?
I am so tempted to "spray paint" but I know that is not the way it probably should be done. I should probably prime and do the who thing. Laziness tempts me to spray.
Did you prime? SO cute!! :)
Thank you so much for stopping by...please come again..and you can bet I will be back!
Hugs..
Mona :)
LOVE IT--great projects. Lots month I was "out of the loop" but I'm back
