Love the desk and hutch makeover...I can't tell from the before picture but looks like you might have replaced the back of the shelves with beadboard, or maybe the black just makes the detail pop. Love the stool as well.

What a cute stool (and I love the clipboards and stuff behind it!) And the desk/hutch rivals something out of Pottery Barn :o)

LOVE IT!

Both of your makeovers are just gorgeous. It always amazes me what a little paint can do to make something a real treasure. Your pieces are stunning. Hugs, Marty

Using you as inspiration I painted an old blue Ikea bookcase black yesterday. I am not done yet but I love it so far.

The two look perfect together! And I love all of the accessories in the background of the first picture. Those clipboards, pinboard, and painted frames are so cute. I'm glad you posted to one more party, mine. :)

I am about to do some painting, well, ok, as soon as I am up to it.
I am hoping by the first of the year to get to it.
I am...just delighted at the difference paint and a bit of material can make. YOU are amazing!
I am not sure but it seems like I may have seen these before..but IF I have why on earth didn't I save your blog?
I am so tempted to "spray paint" but I know that is not the way it probably should be done. I should probably prime and do the who thing. Laziness tempts me to spray.
Did you prime? SO cute!! :)
Thank you so much for stopping by...please come again..and you can bet I will be back!
Hugs..
