Plant Stand $2.50, Disney Prints and tables my hubby probably will say no I can not have….

It was 1/2 price day at the Goodwill and a mostly 1/2 price day at  the ARC thrift stores….I went to three. My 19 year old daughter went with me, I am training her…..LOL. By the time we were done  (and after mom bought her a ton of stuff) she decided she likes to  thrift and there was all kinds of cool stuff. Along with 1/2 price day, it was 99 cent jean day. A couple was the first in line and piled the shopping cart full with jeans (obviously re-selling them) This cute elderly lady standing near my daughter said “My, they must have a large family” – too cute ! It was handy bringing an assistant with me , I would say – grab that, watch the cart , you go this way – I’ll go the other….Like I said , she is in training…

Plant stand

1/2 price for $2.50 – solid wood – I was ever sooooo happy !

006

Afterwards with a little black paint – a beauty.

019

Minnie Mouse Print and Pooh Prints

She just has no style in browns…..no wonder she was donated !

012

Look at her now in the spot light ! This print is for my work office – I have a few Disney things and have it displayed on my desk and such. This frame and picture was a buck.

043

I spotted these Winnie the Pooh prints because I liked the square frames. I decided I liked the pictures but, they needed updating. 014

Much more grown up in black. I am taking these to work too ! I got them for a couple of bucks each.

039

Tables I really don’t need

My hubby would tell you that  “We don’t need anymore tables !”

Awwwww, they are sooooo nice………pretty please……..

These next two beauties were so dang cheap – I had to get them. They are in such perfect condition and I might , just might leave them alone….

The end table was $13.99 but…..it was on sale for 1/2 off so it was $6.99

001

The coffee table – with drop leafs….was $15.99 but, it was also on the 1/2 price sale so it was $7.99

010

Cross your fingers he will let me KEEP them…..

Hugs ~ Kammy

Can't go wrong at those prices. Oh the tables are staying. Of course they are. Just put them in another room for a while and he won't even notice when they edge their way into the main rooms.

WOW!!! Those prices are great, and I can't believe the makeover on the prints. Much better. :) I've gotten used to thrifting with the kiddos out of necessity. My husband is always working, so he's not home to stay with them on Sat. mornings so I can yard sale. :) Thanks so much for the visit! :)

Great finds this weekend. Black paint does wonders to almost anything. The transformation on the plant stand was great but the difference between the "before" Minnie and the "after" Minnie was incredible. The black frame and mat made all the difference. You not only have a great eye for finding great finds but you definitely have the talent to transform these finds as well. Great job. (OK - I just used the word "great" five times in this comment, guess I need a thesaurus!)

Look at that plant stand! You transformed it something special. I really love it. I need you to come to Florida and give me spray paint lessons! Have you been to Walt Disney World here? Let me know if you come, because I love the characters too and I am only about 40 minutes away from Mouseland. I would love to meet up with you someday and see that lovely smiling face in person.
