This news report is part of Outdoor Wednesday with your hostess- Susan at

http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/

A  prison escape happened just before sunset Tuesday September 29,2009.  It happened at the Owl Canyon Penit-HEN-tuary. The escaped convicts should not be approached as they could be armed and dangerous. Some may call them “ JAIL BIRDS “ but, we don’t want to give them a label….you decide. This is the picture that was captured at the local watering hole…..

The JAIL BIRDS are known as :

Left Fingered OSCAR

Mack – AKA The Godfather

Two Timing Peggy

How did they escape out of the high security prison you may be asking yourself.  This next image was captured on film – judge for yourself *** Warning the next image may be graphic ***

This prisoner happens to be “ON DEATH ROW” , yes, he is counting his days and seems to be making the best of them.  He wears a bright red coat and lately his name has been Satin.  If you follow this blog you may have seen this same criminal breaking out of jail in the spring and making a ruckus.  Officials aren’t sure yet how Satin broke down the high security fences (and gate) to break out the JAIL BIRDS –it is under investigation.

Meanwhile, Prison Guard Officer Grady Tucker is gathering up the JAIL BIRDS……

058

Wait, we seem to catch Officer Grady Tucker off guard….

088

Much better –

093

Get a load of the unruly hair style on Left Fingered Oscar. Remember what prison does to these people.

080

Meanwhile back at the Penit-HEN-tuary – his days are numbered and he isn’t budging…. Here stands Satin – as if nothing happened…… We are checking the freezer space at this moment…..

DISCLOSURE – THIS IS NOT A POST FOR THE FAINT OF HEART OR FOR VEGGANS.

027

The following prisoners DID NOT ESCAPE….

this is not a paid announcement and no money exchanged hands) End of commercial.

031

Until the prison is built again – the JAIL BIRDS will have to live in the large compound aka the barn.

035

We leave you with these images…

Sorry – I got allot of imagination.

Kammy-The doctor definitely did not remove your sense of humor during surgery--it is alive and intact! Left fingered Oscar is really something. Satin needs a sign like Chic fil a: Eat mor chikn!

Cute post Kammy!!! I was deputized many times during this same sort of prison break, over the years. One critter in particular was very wiley and renamed hamburger after several escapes!;-)

Happy ODW!

Fun post!! Glad you are back from surgery, and posting with your old sense of humor. Love it!! Of course, I live in the prison capital of Colorado; so we occasionally have a real jail break and they lock down the schools. Scary in real life - yours is a lot more fun. Sally

Tammy,
OMG!!! Loved your post. It was freaking hilarious!!! What an imagination. Satin did look like dead man walking. My niece just decided she wants to be a vegetarian. Not a vegan, a vegetarian. She'll still eat eggs & dairy products. I never could be either one. I love me some beef & chicken too much. In fact, we are having steak tonight. It's what for dinner! Thanks for the laughs. I'm still giggling thinking about your post. Probably will be all night.

I got a good laugh with my morning coffee, Kammy! Boy, that one does have quite a "hairdo" doesn't it? Bolt the doors shut and clamp down the windows. Might be extremely dangerous times until things can get back under control. Cute, cute!

That was a great post Kammy! I had to grit my teeth so I would not laugh out loud. It would have been too hard to explain to my boss why I was reading a hilarious blog instead of drafting a motion...

Although, as a vegan, I did overlook the explicit references! ;) Loved the critters - especially Left Fingered Oscar!

Thank you so much for the needed does of humor!

Great post and Gunner is a very handsome fellow...I can't tell if he has a tail...where did you get him? We just added a female ACD puppy to our male...he's red, she's a blue and will be darker than our last female...how funny.

Actually, I'm very surprised Satin let them out and not Gunner. We decided long ago that if ACDs had opposable thumbs, humans would be in a great deal of trouble...right now Duncan is all over Scout (the girl ACD), but as soon as she is bigger than he is....right now they will share the same LONG rawhide chewy...

Oh yeah, should we start petitioning the landfill to have a section for the furniture that people toss? We can offer to woman the office, that way we get the good stuff before it anyone else does (and we can hit up the paint recycling to use!)

I love Colorado! My little grandson lives there so that is where my heart is.

Kammy, this was so much fun. We've got a few chickens. Our cutest is a teeny "attack" banty. He charges Bandwith and pecks his shoes. Little Jimmy is 3 inches tall.
Love your glimpse of farmlife.

What a MARVELOUSLY entertaining 'outdoor Wednesday' post! The Camera Critters bloggers would LOVE it too! I'm so glad you dropped by Sacred Ruminations and left your link. I've been so busy all week I've not had much time to be at the computer so I probably would have missed it. I love your imagination and look forward to returning to check out more posts as time permits. Hope you have a lovely weekend.
