Your tablescape is very pretty, Kammy. It looks sort of tropical and I like the casual relaxing feeling of it. Makes me think of Floria and Hawaii. The dishes are very pretty and I love the napkins. We like to visit the same stores, unfortunately, none of them are in our town that, is why I go crazy when I get into one since I have to travel quite a distance. We're both on a lookout on the Emma's Garland dishes. I was kicking myself for not buying the oval platter when I saw it....Christine

Congrats on the camera! You will have such fun.

You have a beautiful table setting and sure pulled together a nice grouping that looks great.

One day soon I hope to participate in the tablescape, but for now I really enjoy seeing all the ideas!

Your tablescape has a slightly asian feel for me. Very beautiful!

It's lucky you found out his camera worked before you gave it to him. You wouldn't want to give a present that was not in working order!

Kammy - I love, love, love the plates and bowls - and oh, by the way - I have them, too. :-D
They are indeed some of the prettiest plates I have ever seen.

The wicker glass holders are quite unusual. This is such a pretty table. Very well put together. Thanks so much for sharing.

Blessings, Barb

Hey, Kammy! Thanks for visiting my blog. I love your tablescape. I've got some of those 222 Fifth dishes also, as well as the infamous "Gollum" dishes from Big Lots. They are so great for pairing with lots of other patterns.

I am really wanting some of those Gibson dishes too! They are such a good price and classic and go with everything, but they will have to wait for now.

Kammy,

This is a really pretty table! The red dishes are bold but feminine too! I love the woven placemats~I think that is what gives this a little tropical look as well as your centerpiece. This tablescape would look great in a restaurant in the Bahamas~and I mean that as a compliment!

Thanks for leaving me your comments! Have a wonderful weekend!! :-D

It is nice to meet you!

You are fortunate that I don't live nearby because I would be rapping on your front door...just to ask if I could come in and see what's going on. Beg a cup of tea..or coffee.. and check everything out!! How beautiful to live in such an area..my view is of house...after house..after house! I was raised in the country so I MISS it so much! You are so very lucky!

Kammy,
I love, love, love your Fleur Rouge plates. If I wasn't on a plate diet, I might just have to run to TJ Maxx to see if I could find me some. I'm resisting the temptation, but it is sooooo hard. The Big Lot Gibson plates are a great find. I think almost everyone out in tablescape blog land has them by now. I know I do. And they still carry them at Big Lots (for those that don't have them, but want them). Your tablescape is fabulous. Thanks for sharing.

I love those square dishes! Everything looks so pretty. I agree with you, you had to try out the camera to see if it was good enough for him! You probably need to keep trying it out until Father's Day! You asked about my blog being full page. I just don't use the cute, decorative pages that all of ya'll use. I'm really kind of boring, but I've gotten used to it, so I've left it that way. Thanks for coming by. laurie
