I love to paint, but look at this mess ! I have it all in a large Longaberger basket and there is simply no organization….
I purchased this cubby unit on clearance through Pottery Barn…My youngest had been using it and she had adored it with stickers…. So I scraped them off and got out the black paint and I ended up with…..
Now it holds my paints ! Now I just have to label the sections of color. I am almost done with my “studio”, will show you a little as time goes by ! Thanks for dropping in and don’t forget to see more blogs for Metamorphosis Monday hosted by Susan at http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ .
Hope everyone has a great week !
Hugs ~ Kammy
Look, Lori from http://www.familytreesmaycontainnuts.com suggested a tip to flip over the paint to see the colors more easily…I love it, had to do it right away – so clean looking, Thanks Lori !!!!

Kammy- this is a great idea for craft paints!! I so wish I could get my craft stuff organized. We moved to Co almost 1 1/2 years ago now and everything is just stuck in boxes in the closet still!!

Great job!
Hugs from Eventually Cottage!
Great way to store those paints.
You should be proud--your new cubby looks great black and is a perfect system! I just love organization-My brain works better! Thanks for visiting!
Kammy, you did a great job transforming that little cabinet. So nice to be organized, isn't it? Funny you said something about a future tablescape out by the arbor. I just told hubby last night that we need a long narrow iron table in the center and now I am on a lookout for it, LOL!
What a great project. You should see all my paints stuffed in a drawer. This is a wonderful idea to get them organized. I'm inspired!
Hi Kammy!! Thanks for poppin in for my first Met Monday!! Love this!! I, too, will be organizing my creative station, and can use all the ideas I can get!! Storage is always an issue!!
Great job, and it will save time, too!!
Blessings,
Becky
Hi Kammy,
What a difference paint can make! I just love what you did with the cubby unit for your paints. Paints are actually hard to organize. I think you found a beautiful and functional way to do it. Very nice project! Amy
That is a great project. Little hint...turn your paint bottles around so that you can clearly see the bottoms and therefore the colors better. Makes it easier to find the one you want. You can sort the shades within the boxes too because now you are super organized and can't stop. Hmmm dark to light or light to dark. Okay now we are getting carried away.
Soooooooo glad it's spring!!!
Like the new look with black.
It's so much fun to see what others are doing.
Blessings to you,

Wow Kammy, that turned out great! I really like that you re-purposed shelves that you already had and took it a step further by repainting it, it looks new and up to date. :O)
Hey Kammy with the sweet smile! Great project. Hope that life is going well and that you are enjoying a beautiful Rocky Mountainn spring...
Cheers,
Sue.
I'm glad my tip worked out for you. Now if I could only clean up my own space....
Wow, that's a great idea! I love it and glad you shared it today!
Great idea. I will share this with my mom. It's nice to 'meet' another Colorado blogger! I'm sure I'll be visiting again soon. :-)
Excellent recycling of that cubby shelving unit.
Oh my gosh I loe that idea! Mine are in a basket like yours used to be... I almost thought it was my basket of paint!

Ohhh what a great idea my are all thrown into a tupperware tub (lol) Looks great;) French
Hmmm...we need to have a blogger get together in Colorado since there are more than two of us here!
Hi Kammy...
Girl, this is a great idea! Thanks for the great tip!!! All of my paints look just like yours in the "before" pic! I have them all stored or should I say thrown into a big wood basket! I'm going to have to keep my eyes out for a cubby like this! Oh yes, and that Lori is one smart gal...flipping the paints around to see the bottom and colors!!! So smart!!!
I can't wait to see your studio when you get it finished!!! I don't want to miss it..if you think about it, come and get me when you post about it! I'd love to see it!!!
Warmest wishes,
Chari
