Deck the Halls – Inside and Outside of this Small Home in The Country……………….

I have never taken a picture of this ornament , we use it every year. It is a Hallmark ornament and my Grandma gave it to hubby and I the first year we were married – see the date – 1984.012

Notice all the Gaudy Gold – It looks fine in Christmas ornaments and on dishes…..LOL !  Drats – I don’t paint EVERYTHING !!!!!

I love this tree and I really want to start a bird ornament collection for it….I just plugged this and that on it for now…

I bought these nutcrackers at Joann’s last year for $3 each

Nature Decorated

our Small Home in The Country this weekend

I braved the snow to get some pictures (and visit my Dish Dive aka outbuilding to get silver chargers for Tablescape Thursday) the things I do for you………………………LOL !

See my boots………….

058

This was early in the day – we since then got mounds and mounds more. It has been snowing for over 24 hours !

This next picture when I was in the barn and you can see the back of our small home . See that building to the right ? That is where I keep my my dish stash.  The building to the left is a 6 car garage – Yep, about the same size as the home…

055

Mr. Grady Tucker would like some grain……I gave him a huge scoop – look at those eyes…..He is all shaggy with his warm winter coat. See all the little flakes of snow ?

015

Here is little Vader romping in the snow – I do say, he needs some boots and a coat….maybe Santa will get him some. Can you see a little bit of Zorro the kitty in the dog house ?

019Here is Gunner – now that dog knows how to have fun !

We had a tiny bit of snow, last night. It's all but gone this morning. I know this sounds silly, but one of the reasons we had all those windows put across the back of the house, was so we could watch it snow!LOL Last night we turned on a flood light just so we could see the snow. I know...we're crazy!;-)

We have a first Christmas ornament very similar to yours. Our date is 1983.

Loved this post,Kammy!

I agree with Jane, you do take great photos. You made those boots look like they were in a fashion shoot.
I thought Mr. Grady Tucker had a bad case of dandruff. Thanks for clearing that up.
Winter has hit here with our temperatures at -4 Celsius which is about 24 degrees Fahrenheit. Windy and clear so no snow for us.

Love your photos of the snow -that's as close as I'm willing to get.

Friend had a tree similar to yours, made of wood. She decorated with the 12 days of Christmas - one partridge, two turtledoves, 5 golden rings, etc - I think for a total of 78 and ALL different - it was amazing.

I love the ornaments! And Mr. Grady? Can you please send him over this way? He is adorable! :)
I wish I could also say that we received as much snow as you all, but alas, it was not meant to be this time around...
Thanks for sharing your winter wonderland. :)

All of your Christmas decorations are lovely Kammy! And those outdoor pictures are amazing, especially of the dogs frolicking in the snow, and the much smarter cat who was having none of that silliness!
Happy Monday!

Kammy- I love seeing the snow, your furry friends, and your ornaments. I am glad you resisted the urge to paint the gold. I am not sure if I could safely let you in my dining room :) Thanks for the tour--stay warm!

Kammy, whoa, the snow is really coming down out there! I miss the snows in New Mexico- it's just not the same here in Ohio. How fun to see all of your animals- I love the pic of Mr. Grady Tucker. He's a cutie.
You took some great pics of your ornaments! That tree that you want to place a bird ornament collection is really cool. I don't think I've seen anything like that before. Is is new?
Thanks for visiting yesterday. I am feeling so much better and think I can get a lot more done before Sat. Maybe even bake a batch of cookies!
