I WAS BEING FOLLOWED ! Sure glad I keep a cell phone with me !

059  Such a beautiful day , a great day to go on a quick walk.  I always carry a cell phone for emergencies. I am working on getting my two little pups to do better on a leash so out we went. We are all the way down the road and Cruizer keeps on turning his head back to the house….What the heck is he looking at ? I turn around  - Oh my gosh !!! Quick whip out the cell phone to call – my daughter ! Quick get the camera the pups and I are being followed by….

011

Our cat Zorro !  (please don’t look closely at me – I wear sweat pants about 3 times a year and wear a ponytail – today was one of those days…)

014

So, we walk back to the house and he is like a bee on honey – he loves to purrrrr and cuddle on Cruizer and Vader.

035

So, we try again to walk down the road……. Can we lose this character ??

052

Go a little further…… Nope, still following….

018

No way, we can’t lose him.

069 I have to put him inside even in the mornings when my daughter catches the school bus – because he tries to follow her right up on to the bus ! That dang cat ! I swear he thinks he is a dog …

Hugs ~ Kammy

Why are some cats like that? Others run for cover at the first sign of people or other animals.
Our cat once walked out to the sidewalk where I was chatting with a lady who had a large German Shepard dog on a leash.
Dumb cat just walked right up to us rubbing around our legs.
Glad you were not being followed by anything more crazy.

Love your first picture - you just can't beat the mountains of northern Colorado! Even though I live in the southern Colo. mountains, I have a soft spot for your part of the state. Take care, Sally

The title scared me because I was followed in a car once (before cell phones were popular), thank goodness I knew the area VERY well and lost them!

Anyway, how funny that your cat follows you around. We have neighbors that have several outdoor cats that follow them when they walk. My Midnight looks just like Zorro. Since we found Midnight I absolutely LOVE black cats. They are just the sweetest!!!

Oh Kammy!
How sweet is this. I love the sweats as that is what I love to wear, they are so comfy. I dress up all week, so on the weekends and my off time I like my old sweats best.

Love the pups, and this little kitty of yours is precious. You had me worried when you said you were being followed.

Have a beautiful Tuesday sweetie, and stop by soon. Country hugs, Sherry

You scared me for a moment ! We have a little kitten from the neighbors that is a stalker... whenever someone goes outside it's coming from nowhere and tries to sit on your feet !

That is too cute. Don't you just love our sweet pets!

Glad to see someone else has the sweats/ponytail days. Me, too!

My mom's kitty (who used to be mine too until I moved away from home) used to follow us on walks as well. Mostly just down my parents long driveway, but it was still always funny to look back and see her trotting along behind us, pretending she was minding her own business.

Obviously, kitty doesn't want to be left out, the last photo looks like the perfect Halloween cat! Your pets look very pampered and well cared for, fun post!

Kammy! You scared me a little! Your right Zero thinks he is part of the pack. Maybe let him go with you. Cats are smart! If he followed you there he will follow you home.. or leash train him?

How adorable! He looks like my Simon! I have 4 cats (yes, 4) and my other three are old cats. Two are 14 years old and one is 12. THEN we find Bella a stray KITTEN! She just loves all of them to death!! Them to her? Not so much!

I keep hoping she will "grow" on them, but I'm not feeling good about it!

Cute post!

OH, Kammy! I thought you were going to tell us a horror story! So much evil happens! Whew! Just the kitty and what a precious kitty - look at those eyes! You look precious walking those tiny little dogs! Maybe you should get a kitty lease and take kitty with you on your doggy walks.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

I know how you feel girlfriend....since I had heart surgery about 3 1/2 years ago. I cannot go walking "Noah's ark" following me.....two cats and dog. I don't mind the dog following me, but I want the kittys to stay at home. It makes me nervous for them to be on the road because they are a lot smaller than the dog. Plus the dog minds me better than the kittys. I know they are just wanting to be with their mommy and protect her....enjoy it!!!

Hello Kammy,

Your post is too cute! My Bahgeera (cat) thinks he is a dog. He even growls when someone knocks on the door or rings the doorbell! When I have foster puppies, he romps and plays with them as if he is a part of the litter.

Cute story!!! And sure you only wear sweats and a pony tail 3 times a year. I'm totally buying that. The pups & kitty are cute.

You are too cute and so your pets!

And I think you look fine in sweats and a pony tail, and I'll bet 98% of us do the same!
All the best,

You got me in the title, Kammy! You naughty thing. The story was cute and I love your pups and the cute kitty. Why all the fuss about the sweats and pony tail? We didn't expect you'd be wearing a Dolce and Gabbana frock with Manolos! ha!

Cheers!

Hah hah. Same thing happened to me when I was walking a client's dog one night. She kept turning around and staring into the dark. I saw NOTHING! I was actually starting to freak out. She had not done this before. I was scared someone was REALLY following us. It turned out to be their CAT!! (who had been let out when I arrived.) I had a very relieved laugh.... :-)
Pets...gotta love em. Thanks for the funny.

Oh, that's cute! Zorro didn't want to miss out on the adventures with his brothers.

And in the winter, I live in sweats every morning until I get my shower. Sweats rock!

It is funny how some cats will follow you like a dog. I have 5 cats , but one, Rolf follows me around the yard wherever I go like your kitty.8~) The pups are very cute & so is this post.

Oh my, you had me scared! So happy to know it was only that pretty kitty following you! :)

Cyndi W said...

I have a sure-fire cure for this! Put the cat on a leash, and I promise you she will never follow you again on your walks. Cats hate to be controlled and contained. It has worked on 2 of my cats. You have to make the cat go the whole walk that way, no skipping out in the middle. Good luck!

Glad you are safe I thought it was the boogie-man!

Sweet Kammy~ I'm strolling in to catch up and especially to wish you and your (furry) loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving!
It's such a wonderful time to stop and reflect on all those we cherish and are truly grateful for.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to visit and leave feeling inspired!

Even though our Thanksgiving is very small in number, with hubby and son (we don't count the cat cause she doesn't like turkey). We don't scrimp on the menu...from appetizers to desserts with several carb loaded dishes in between! We will be enjoying tryptophan playoffs too!

I was happy to see that it was just your kitty stalking you, lol.

Sweet Holiday wishes,
Sara

One of my cats follows us into the Forest Preserve when I take my dogs for a walk. Celia stay well behind us and meows the entire way. Tinkerbelle will only follow us to the gate and she sits and waits for us to return.

Cats are so silly and fun!
