This Thursday for Tablescape I decided to set a place for one. I used my crock – previously posted in a Met. Monday. I covered the crock with a lace tablecloth (one I bought at the GW !)

Please ladies give me some intervention ….I am now officially a DISHAHOLIC ! I know I have admitted this before…but now I am over the edge ! Remember a couple months ago when I had an empty cupboard…it is no more. My hubby has told me “No More Dishes !) so my brain is a working overtime…what’s a girl to do – Please don’t say No ! …I came up with a good idea for my small home in the country….I have a wonderful little “shed” built on concrete and it is mine….for storage – it stays dry and clean like a storage shed….I need to clean it out again anyway. I have about 4 or more 18 gallon tubs of video tapes from when my kids were little…..clear them out and I have major dish storage, Yeah Me !
Here are some pictures of my collection, Pleeeze don’t tell the hubby – I don’t think he knows….LOL ! I counted about 22 different sets…I think I am set because, there are 26 weeks in a year….

Remember this set of Mikasa ? I went back into the store and found more dinner plates (I only found 3 two weeks ago !) Yeah Me !
You will have to meander through my blog to see all my other collections because, I am too lazy to post them and its Saturday and I have tons to do….
Have you counted your sets of dishes…don’t cuz it is Scary !

Getting home from work – my 20 year old son was out feeding the critters…..Next thing I know I get a cell call “mom , the steer is out of the pasture !” What did we do in the olden days without cell phones ?
Try catching a cow that isn’t halter broken is quite fun….We had to get Rio our palomino out and get the cow to follow (the cow we call him Angus loves Rio !) He is a little tired now after we corralled him back into our pasture…he is huge !
See our horse Rio and Mr.. Grady Tucker they act like nothing happened….
See how muddy it is in the barnyard ! It has been raining for days….
See my dirty feet – I should have taken a picture of my lovely white sandals - they are a wreck now….I then changed into old navy red flip flops and lost those in the mud….I really did need a new pedicure..I think I will paint them pink tonight….LOL

6 ,yes Six things about me , there is no order of importance !
1. I am an excessive planner – I have a planner and use it faithfully. I plan vacations, holidays , decorating and everything else. I like to research and learn about everything I am planning. I love it when everything has been thought out and planned – it make me happy !
2. I moved about 26 times between fifth grade and my senior year of high school. I lived most of the time in California but also Nevada,Oregon and finally Colorado. My mom has a thing about not being in a home longer then 6 months….she still is moving – in fact I don’t even have an address on her at the current moment (she lives in another state). I have lived in my small home in the country for 20 years this September. I love living in the same place !
3. I am married to my high school sweetheart. My hubby is three years older – so I was almost 16 when I met him and he was barely 19 ( my daughter said the other day - “isn’t that illegal ??” LOL.) We are celebrating out 25th Wedding Anniversary in September. We have 3 children they are my son 20 and daughters 18 and 14. Yes , I lived through having 3 teenagers at one time ! We started young so I feel young at 42 !
4. I am hyper ! I must be doing something all the time. I can’t watch t.v. without being on the computer or reading a book or quilting…I have to have lots of stuff going on at one time.
5. I am legally blind in my right eye. So, if I sit next to you on your left side – I can’t see you, – comes in really handy sometimes, LOL! People can’t tell for the most part because my eyes follow each other. It is a birth defect and inoperable. I can’t do Lasik surgery on my “good” eye, can’t wear contacts because if anything happened to my good eye I would be blind. My depth perception stinks so I really have had to practice my driving skills. I do not repeat, do not park in parking garages…I am so glad that we only have 2 in the nearest town. Major scary for me – those garages ! I like to sit on the right side of a theatre – its my middle…I also like to sit at the end of a long table – so I can see everyone a little easier….On the other hand ya know that girl at the office that nobody wants to sit next to her – she can sit on my right hand side….LOL – just kidding…..I love to give and take lots of “one eyed jokes “. I can dish it and take it !
6. Create and think and create and think….my mind goes and goes and goes (see number 4 –the Hyper part) I love to do things myself – I love to paint, scrapbook,paper craft, embroidery ,sew, tablescape, quilt, decorate, and cook. I have my own little “studio” with just my stuff to do all this stuff.
Oh, and I am certainly not a writer by any means ( keep this in the back of your head when reading my stuff, please ! )

So, that's exactly what I did, went to the 6th folder of my photo folder and then took the 6th photo from that folder and came up with this.
This picture is Chip and Dale at Disneyland in California. The picture was taken by my youngest daughter. We were on a family vacation in June of 2007. I am in love with Disneyland…..one day I want to visit Disney World – but I think I would have to take out a 2nd mortgage to go ! If I had a any place in the world to visit I would choose Disneyland…it is the happiest place on earth – for real !

Everything except the flatware (Ross $9 bucks) was from the Goodwill (or a type of Goodwill) store ! Remember people ladies I am CHEAP !
